Teen Killed by Hit-And-Run Driver in L.A., Police Search for Driver

LOS ANGELES – Police say a teenage girl has been killed by a hit-and-run driver in west Los Angeles.

Police spokesman Richard French says the 13- to 15-year-old girl was struck Friday morning by a black Mercedes at an intersection in Brentwood. She was later pronounced dead at UCLA Medical Center.

French says police are seeking information about the driver. Police say more details will be released later.
