The attorney for Milford's superintendent of schools says his client will plead not guilty to sexual assault charges involving two female school principals.

Harvey Polansky is scheduled to return Thursday to Milford Superior Court. He faces two misdemeanor counts of fourth-degree sexual assault and two counts of breach of peace.

The two principals allege in a complaint to the state Commission on Human Rights and Opportunities that Polansky repeatedly kissed them on their lips, hugged them and touched their buttocks.

The state complaint says Polansky admitted wrongdoing, though he has declined public comment. He has agreed to resign effective June 30.
