GRETA VAN SUSTEREN, FOX NEWS HOST: So does Tiger Woods suffer from sex addiction or immorality? Tiger Woods says he's in therapy and receiving guidance for his issues. But is it a sickness or just simply a lack of ethics, or is he just immoral?
Radio talk show host Laura Ingraham -- I should say "star" radio talk show...
LAURA INGRAHAM, RADIO TALK SHOW HOST: Oh...
VAN SUSTEREN: ... is here -- star. All right, Laura...
INGRAHAM: I thought we were talking about CPAC and the deficit. And I'm, like, there was a Tiger Woods press conference today? I can't believe it.
VAN SUSTEREN: So are you convinced? You feel sorry for him?
INGRAHAM: Well, look, this whole thing is part of the new sort of exhibitionist culture that we live in, right, where if you're in the public eye and something happens or you slip up, it's all out there for the world to see. And I think...
(CROSSTALK)
VAN SUSTEREN: ... was a little -- he had plenty of time to think about it.
(CROSSTALK)
INGRAHAM: It's the season of Lent, Greta.
(LAUGHTER)
INGRAHAM: I'm trying to be -- you know...
VAN SUSTEREN: Charitable?
INGRAHAM: But look, you know, I always say I'm the most flawed person out there. I don't like -- I don't like wagging my finger at anyone. You know, to quote Buddha, the finger is always pointed back at you, so I'm not -- I'm not -- I'm not going there!
But look, I think, at some point, the public apologies and the mentioning of the sponsors -- when he said, I want to say I'm sorry or send my greetings to Accenture and the players on the tour and -- you know, and then thank my -- what did he say? He said, I let down my business associates. That seemed a little odd. And look, I'm not an expert on these. I don't know how you do these things. But it seemed a little orchestrated and it seemed strange.
VAN SUSTEREN: I don't know...
INGRAHAM: It did seems strange, but it's a strange situation, so...
VAN SUSTEREN: I don't know who he's talking, though, because, you know, every time -- when he's (INAUDIBLE) I think, like, Who is advising him to do this? Because he's talking about -- he's lecturing the media on leaving his wife alone and being good to his wife, and I'm thinking, like, Don't go there. Don't go there. Because everyone's thinking...
INGRAHAM: Yes.
VAN SUSTEREN: ... Hey, listen, pal, how about you being nice to your wife through the 14, you know, whatever it was?
INGRAHAM: Yes, it's strange. I was speaking with this crisis management person, you know, today on my radio show, Jonathan Bernstein (ph). I said, How -- how do you -- is there a way to do this? And He said the way to do something like this, if you have to do it, is to be basically contrite, short and sweet, to the point. I mean, the idea of...
VAN SUSTEREN: I'd say lie low, don't talk, but...
INGRAHAM: Or gathering your friends together. It looked like one of the old, you know, Soviet premier giving -- giving a speech in the old Soviet Union! They're all sitting there stone-faced. It just -- it was odd. I mean, if you're going to have -- if you're going to call something a press statement -- it's not really a press statement. I mean, he couldn't really open it up to questions, though, could he, because where were those questions going to go? That would have -- I mean, that would have been...
VAN SUSTEREN: Well, he picked his audience, though, so that might have been...
(CROSSTALK)
INGRAHAM: ... bizarre.
VAN SUSTEREN: Well, Gloria Allred, who never disappoints us, represents one of the mistresses. Let's hear what Gloria and the mistress had to say.
INGRAHAM: Uh-oh.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
GLORIA ALLRED, ATTORNEY: Today was not an apology, it was a staged public relations stunt. It was a disgrace!
VERONICA SIWIK DANIELS, TIGER'S ALLEGED MISTRESS: It never had to come to this. He knows that I was very straight and honest with him. But for a long time, he lied to me. I never wanted to cause Elin, Sam or Charlie any pain. But I'm not the sole cause. Tiger pursued me, and over time, I fell in love with him. And he told me he loved me, too!
(END VIDEO CLIP)
VAN SUSTEREN: I...
INGRAHAM: It's very sad.
(LAUGHTER)
INGRAHAM: I mean, this is -- I mean, my heart -- my heart breaks for...
(CROSSTALK)
INGRAHAM: No, for his family, for his wife. I mean...
VAN SUSTEREN: You feel sorry for this woman?
INGRAHAM: No, for the whole -- for his -- Tiger Woods's wife.
VAN SUSTEREN: I do, too, but I don't feel sorry...
INGRAHAM: I'm thinking about his wife.
VAN SUSTEREN: ... for this woman! She's up to her eyeballs! She knew he was married!
INGRAHAM: No, no. No, but...
VAN SUSTEREN: She's up to her eyeballs in it!
INGRAHAM: ... I'm talking about Elin and I'm talking about his family. The whole thing is so unseemly. And I know the country has become -- we've become a tabloid country. We've become fascinated with other lives. I always this, Greta...
VAN SUSTEREN: Well, wait a second!
INGRAHAM: I am so -- I don't care...
VAN SUSTEREN: Wait a second!
INGRAHAM: ... what other people do! I don't know -- I could barely handle my own life, let alone...
VAN SUSTEREN: I'm not -- I mean, I'm not -- I mean, yes, it is indeed true, we've become a tabloid. But you know, what about his conduct? I mean, I -- I mean, like, you know, what started it isn't sort of the media's thirst for information.
INGRAHAM: Right.
VAN SUSTEREN: If he hadn't done this, if -- and if his girlfriend and the 14 had the...
INGRAHAM: Right.
VAN SUSTEREN: They bought this on themselves, so I don't have an enormous amount of sympathy for them!
INGRAHAM: Well, look, again, when someone asks for forgiveness -- I mean, I'm trying to think about, again, season of Lent. When someone asks for forgiveness -- I mean, he doesn't have to ask us for forgiveness because we're not part of his world. But he asked his family for forgiveness. He asked his friends for forgiveness...
VAN SUSTEREN: Well, why is he going on TV to do this?
INGRAHAM: ... and he...
VAN SUSTEREN: He should just be (INAUDIBLE) asking for forgiveness...
INGRAHAM: Well, I don't think...
VAN SUSTEREN: ... because he wanted to reach out to his sponsors!
INGRAHAM: I completely agree with you. What I think is that when -- if you made a mistake -- and we all fall down, we're all flawed. If you make a mistake, it's your behavior that then changes people's minds, right, because we all know we're flawed. But so you go forward in your life, you change your life, you respect your family. And I think people think, you know, he really, really screwed up, but he really, really turned it around.
Maybe he will. Maybe he will. I wouldn't have handled it this way. I think this whole thing looked weird and mentioning Accenture...
VAN SUSTEREN: Did you get to CPAC?
INGRAHAM: I didn't get to CPAC. I might stop into CPAC. But it's interesting. A lot of tea party folks are here, and they're not talking about Tiger Woods at CPAC.
VAN SUSTEREN: They aren't?
INGRAHAM: They're talking about taking back the country, yes.
VAN SUSTEREN: All right. All right, well, we never got to CPAC. Sorry!
(LAUGHTER)
INGRAHAM: Thanks, Greta! By the way, this was against my wishes, talking about this!
VAN SUSTEREN: Yes, we tied her up and forced her to do this one.
INGRAHAM: Yes! Come on!
VAN SUSTEREN: We forced her. You know, Laura's so -- Laura's such a pushover.
INGRAHAM: I'm trying to be...
VAN SUSTEREN: Very easy to push her over!
(CROSSTALK)
INGRAHAM: I'm trying to be (INAUDIBLE)
VAN SUSTEREN: And you do a good job.
INGRAHAM: ... charitable.
VAN SUSTEREN: Laura, thank you.
INGRAHAM: Nice to see you.
