Watch "The O'Reilly Factor" weeknights at 8 p.m. and 11 p.m. ET!

BILL O'REILLY, HOST: In the "Back of the Book" segment tonight, "Reality Check." And once again I will tell you not to watch this segment. Come back in about four minutes for "Pinheads & Patriots," because you may find tonight's "Check" objectionable. However, it is our duty to present you with what's going on in the world.

"Check" one: NBC News is upset that President Obama is being hammered over Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, the underwear bomber, and Guantanamo Bay, and so this happened a few days ago.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

LAWRENCE O'DONNELL, MSNBC: You actually published a book that says that the president of the United States, on its title, the president is inviting the next attack. Isn't it true that the president you work for invited the first attack by having no idea what was going on with Al Qaeda?

MARC THIESSEN, AUTHOR, "COURTING DISASTER": That is ridiculous.

O'DONNELL: You were told who was going to...

(CROSSTALK)

O'DONNELL: ...before we were hit on 9/11. And your administration invited the first attack...

JOE SCARBOROUGH, HOST, "MORNING JOE": Lawrence — Lawrence...

O'DONNELL: ...which you should live in shame. Talk about the Bush presidency from the...

THIESSEN: And the 9/11 attacks. Can I get a word in?

SCARBOROUGH: Let's stop. Let's stop.

O'DONNELL: …new attacks…

SCARBOROUGH: We are going to break right now. We're going to break right now. We'll be right back, and I'm going to be interviewing Mark by myself. We'll be right back.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

O'REILLY: Embarrassing.

"Check" two: The liberal satire guys still obsessed with Sarah Palin. I mean, "Check" kind of understands this. There's not much going on. The governor is a big star. But we are reaching critical mass, are we not?

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

STEPHEN COLBERT, HOST, COMEDY CENTRAL'S "THE COLBERT REPORT": Last week Palin rightfully demanded the resignation of White House chief of staff Rahm Emanuel for calling the liberal Democrats (EXPLETIVE DELETED) retarded. Well, El Rushbo used the "R" word himself when talking about liberal Democrats — Jim.

RUSH LIMBAUGH, RADIO TALK SHOW HOST: Political correctness. Everyone is acting like some giant insult has taken place by calling a bunch of people who are retards, retards.

COLBERT: Palin explained to Chris Wallace on "Fox News Sunday" why that was OK.

SARAH PALIN, FORMER GOVERNOR OF ALASKA: Rush Limbaugh was using satire to bring attention to what the...

CHRIS WALLACE, HOST, "FOX NEWS SUNDAY": But he used the "R" word.

PALIN: And used in satire.

COLBERT: And Sarah Palin knows that it is OK to call someone a retard if, like Rush, you clearly don't mean it. Which is why we should all come to her defense and say Sarah Palin is a (EXPLETIVE DELETED) retard.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

O'REILLY: Unbelievable.

"Check" three: In Australia, they are more liberal about what is displayed on TV, especially in the advertising realm. Again, a viewing warning here. The following commercial may be offensive.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: How are things at home?

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Yes.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Brilliant.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Wow.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: I porked him.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Really?

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Yes. He loved it, and it's been great ever since.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: How could you?

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: In fact, I think I'm going to pork him again tonight.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: With half the fat of red meat and a valuable source of iron, it's easy to fall in love with pork. Get some pork on your fork.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

O'REILLY: I think I may become a vegetarian.

"Check" four: And you can say the same thing about TV in Scotland, that is uninhibited. Here is a live shot by a reporter who was assigned to cover a rugby game. Roll the tape.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Good evening. It's Wales-Scotland. We're here in Bernice (ph), joined by members of Bill McClaren's (ph) old rugby club. So will they be cheering on the streets or will Wales send them home?

(END VIDEO CLIP)

O'REILLY: There is one rule for all TV reporters to follow. Never involve drunken people in a live shot, especially guys wearing kilts.

"Check" five: As you may know, California is a big surfing state, and the waves were extra gnarly at the Maverick Surf Contest in San Francisco over the weekend. A 50-foot swell swept up a bunch of spectators, knocked over some scaffolding. Thirteen people were hurt. In fact, the safest place to be during that was on a surf board.

Finally, "Check" six: Congratulations to Fox News correspondent Jamie Colby, who has co-authored a book with her husband who had quadruple bypass surgery. The book is called "Back to Life After a Heart Crisis." You might want to check it out if heart health is an issue in your family.

And that is "Reality Check."
