Toyota may be facing yet another safety investigation into one of its vehicles, the Automotive News is reporting.

According to the industry newspaper, the National Highway and Transportation Safety Administration (NHTSA) has recieved 83 complaints about the electric power steering systems of 2009-2010 model year Corollas. According to the publication, there have been 76 reported instances of the vehicles unexpectedly veering left or right at high speeds.

Six accidents and 10 injuries have been allegedly caused by the phenomenon.

A NHTSA spokesperson tells the publication that the agency is talking to Toyota about the reports and is "continuing to review and gather information to determine if it warrants a formal investigation."
