Body of Pregnant 22-Year-Old Found in Fire Rubble

FORT PAYNE, Ala. – Authorities are investigating the death of a 22-year-old pregnant woman.

The woman's body was found Monday in a Fort Payne home that was destroyed by fire.

The Huntsville Times reports the fire occurred around 7 a.m.

Authorities said the victim's body has been sent to a state forensics laboratory to determine the exact cause of death.
