MANILA, Philippines – At least 27 people are missing after a passenger ferry collided with a fishing boat in Manila Bay in the Philippines.
Philippine coast guard spokesman Armand Balilo says at least 46 people have been rescued and search teams are looking for others following the collision early Thursday.
He says the wooden-hulled ferry was carrying 73 people but it isn't clear how many were in the fishing boat. The cause of the collision is not clear.
