CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – A missing Georgia man's car was found abandoned in Chattanooga, with a stolen Tennessee license plate, and police suspect foul play.
Police told the Chattanooga Times Free Press that the abandoned blue 1992 Buick LeSabre belongs to Brian Anthony Wehrle, who left a relative's house in Carrollton, Ga., on Sept. 23.
The 39-year-old Wehrle left behind money, his cell phone, medication and personal belongings and hasn't been seen since.
His credit and debit cards haven't been used.
The car was found Dec. 2 parked at a Chattanooga intersection. The Georgia license plate had been removed and replaced.
Anyone with information is asked to call police in Wehrle's hometown or Chattanooga police.
