TOPEKA, Kan. – A search is on in eastern Kansas for a man authorities want to question after a shooting that left three people dead and another wounded.
The violence was reported around 6 p.m. Saturday in Osage County, Kan. The sheriff's office says investigators found one person dead at the scene, and two others died once they arrived at a hospital. Another person is in critical condition.
Investigators want to question 46-year-old James Greg Kahler, and they say he may be armed and dangerous. They've got the area near where the shooting occurred blocked off, and they are asking residents to remain inside their homes.
Osage County is about 35 miles south of Topeka.
