A father was arrested today on suspicion of stabbing to death his 3-year-old son, the Times of London reported.
Paul Otieno, 31, was being held in a London hospital following the alleged attack on his son, after which detectives believe he stabbed himself, the paper reported.
Detectives and medics went to their flat in Southwark, south east London yesterday evening and found the child had suffered several stab wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
His wife Jackeline, 28, had also suffered a knife wound to her neck and ear while her husband was covered in blood - mainly from wounds to his neck, stomach and feet, thought to have been self inflicted, the paper reported.
Detectives found a 17-month-old girl unharmed in her cot in the flat. The family were taken to a south London hospital.
