A marijuana clinic is being held in a Montana civic center — just down the street from a police station — to teach hundreds of people how to get state-issued medical marijuana cards.

The event Friday in Great Falls is one of many clinics held in the state by Jason Christ, founder of the Montana Caregivers Network, to ease fears and tell people medical use of pot is legal.

Lighting a bowl of homegrown marijuana to ease his chronic back pain, Christ says people need to know the law.

The clinic comes as the Obama administration is loosening guidelines on federal prosecution of medical marijuana.
