A school bus driver has been arrested for allegedly driving drunk when and a busload of students crashed into a pickup truck in Ventura County.

Kim Fullenwider of Ojai was arrested Wednesday morning after she made a legal U-turn in front of the pickup in Ojai. The truck could not stop in time and plowed into the bus, which was taking 31 students to school. No one was injured.

California Highway Patrol Officer Steve Reid says officers determined the 53-year-old bus driver had been drinking the night before.

Fullenwider, a 19-year bus driver for Ojai Unified School District, was also charged with child endangerment. Authorities have not said what her blood-alcohol level was.

A message was left at Fullenwider's home in Ojai.
