LOS ANGELES – A creative crew headed by Dave Thomas (former SCTV star and half of the Bob and Doug Mackenzie comedy team) has dared do what most of Hollywood would never even consider - mock President Obama.
"Popzilla" is an all-new, rapid-fire half-hour animated comedy sketch show by Animax Entertainment premiering Monday night on MTV. Pop Tarts got an advance screening and can tell you the show relentlessly skewers the excesses of pop culture. An alternative gossip celebrity news source, the 12-episode series was created to parody breaking celebrity news as it happens.
For instance, and early episode, "Obama’s Job is Hard," shows the President continually attempting to fake his own death and hide in a pot plant because he doesn’t know how to do handle the position. Obama also becomes "a cultural critic" (stemming from his off-the-cuff comments about Kanye West) and criticizes Jon and Kate and Serena Williams’ recent match point temper tantrum. The creator has also assembled another skit entitled "Obama Sex Tape" showing Obama and his First Lady attempting to enjoy an, er, intimate moment as other former U.S Presidents watch on.

But Obama isn’t alone. The spoof targets Hollywood’s most famous, including Britney Spears, Britney Spears, Brangelina, Kayne West, Speidi, Twilight stars and Miley Cyrus. So what else can viewers controversially expect in the coming weeks?
Apparently "lonely girl" Jennifer Aniston can’t keep a man because she sucks them up and spits them out before eventually dressing up a sack of potatoes to be her boyfriend. Sean Penn’s political agenda is satirized when he lobbies against the "hate crime that is being committed" at a local grocery store because the ladies restroom is cleaner than the men’s and has a comfortable lounge. Jessica Simpson starts a fire in the Dallas Cowboys bleachers to get the attention of ex Tony Romo, and although she wins his hand in marriage, he has to "spoon feed" the now wheelchair bound pop princess. In another skit, the coyote that recently stole Jessica Simpson’s dog goes on Jay Leno to apologize.
But what’s really going to stir a storm from the Scientology community is a skit featuring Suri Cruise attending her first day of Scientology Preschool before going into space with her kid-friendly alien teacher while sing- songing about how much she loves the belief system.

Hulk and New Girlfriend: It's Getting Serious
Now that Hulk Hogan is officially divorced from his wife of almost 26 years, Linda Bollea, it seems things are seriously heating up between the retired pro wrestler and his girlfriend Jennifer McDaniel.
Pop Tarts spotted the two getting tattoos at Huntington Ink inside the Palms Resort & Casino on Friday night, and Jennifer had no hesitation in inking "Terry"(Hulk’s real name) on the inside of her right wrist. However the WWE star wasn't quite as ready to reciprocate the romantic gesture and instead opted for "I AM THAT, I AM" on the outside of his right forearm.
Earlier in the night the lovebirds were joined by Hulk's troublesome son Nick Hogan where they enjoyed the stuffed mushroom appetizer followed by 12 oz filets accompanied by lobster mashed potatoes, green beans and creamed spinach (plus dessert!) at the N9NE Steakhouse.
But it seems Hulk isn't the only one getting super serious since the split - apparently things are going from strength to strength with Linda Hogan and her toy boy, Charlie Hill.
"Charlie is so attentive to Linda, he makes her very happy and he seems very sincere," a source close to Ms. Bollea told Tarts. "He is very mature. They definitely plan on being together."
Brooke Mueller Jealous Over Denise Richards’s Diamonds?
Brooke Mueller managed to snag Charlie Sheen, but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t have a watchful eye on his ex wife Denise Richards.
Mueller hit up the Hershey’s stand at the recent Kari Feinstein Pre-Emmy Style Lounge and while there was some signature chocolates on site, the company was instead giving away Hershey’s Kiss Jewelry and offering sterling silver necklaces to celebs and only ten diamond + white gold necklaces for exclusive VIP guests. But after only being offered the silver, Brooke requested the diamonds (worth $2,000) but was refused. However, Mueller was quick to ask whether Denise Richards, who was at the suite earlier in the day, had been decked out with the diamonds.
"The staff let her know that Denise did indeed receive a diamond necklace but not from visiting the lounge," a Hershey rep told Tarts. "She received a diamond necklace in New York months ago."
So if Mueller didn’t make the top 10, who did?
