A New York doctor's rap video about preventing the spread of the swine flu virus is going viral.
The video featuring Dr. John Clarke tells viewers: "For intervention I bring prevention."
It received more than 50,000 votes in a YouTube contest sponsored by the departments of Education and Health and Human Services. The video will be part of a national TV campaign.
The 38-year-old Clarke is the medical director for the Long Island Rail Road. He'll receive a $2,500 prize.
Clarke says he's pleased that rap is being used to educate young people about health information.
Appearing in a white doctor's coat, he advises on the video: "If you have it, stay at home, so you don't spread none."
