An autopsy report from the Hillsborough County medical examiner says the deaths of two children left in a hot car were accidental.

The autopsy report was released Friday, saying the children died at the hospital on Aug. 15 after arriving with unnaturally high body temperatures. Eighteen-month-old Zionna Ervin and 5-month-old Kaden Warren's deaths were ruled accidental. The report said the children had hyperthermia from being left in a hot environment.

Their father, 26-year-old Michael Ervin Jr. of Valrico, faces two counts of aggravated manslaughter of a child. Authorities say he had custody of the children the day of their deaths.

Ervin was released from the Orient Road jail on Sept. 9 after posting $200,000 bail.
