Colorado Baby Born at 9:09 a.m. on 9/9/09

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. – Lots of babies will be able to celebrate being born on a date full of nines, but Alexander Robert Orient has a little extra distinction.

He was delivered by Caesarean section at St. Mary's Hospital in Grand Junction at 9:09 a.m. on 9/9/09, according to The Daily Sentinel newspaper.

Deana Orient says she went into labor at 4:45 a.m. Wednesday and didn't realize the date until she saw it on her hospital bracelet.

Minutes after Alexander was born 2 1/2 weeks premature, hospital workers told Deana and her husband, Patrick, the exact time of birth.
