Detectives searched properties in three San Francisco Bay area communities as part of their investigation into a girl's 1991 kidnapping and any other unsolved crimes.
Contra Costa County sheriff's spokesman Jimmy Lee says no arrests were made Wednesday, but items, including a computer, were taken.
The searches are aimed at gathering more evidence in the case against Phillip Garrido, who has pleaded not guilty to kidnapping and holding captive Jaycee Dugard.

A Garrido business associate says detectives searched her Pleasanton home and the Bay Point and Pittsburg properties she has with her husband.
Cheyvonne Molino said authorities seized a computer, DVDs and video tapes.
Lee would not confirm that but told The Contra Costa Times the Molinos are not suspects.
