Relatives of a Georgia woman who authorities believe was abducted while walking last week are making an emotional appeal for her return.
Kristi Cornwell's mother, brother and cousin appeared on NBC's "Today" show and ABC's "Good Morning America" on Monday from Blairsville in rural north Georgia.
Mother Jo Ann Cornwell pleaded through tears for her daughter's release. She said Kristi's 15-year-old son also needs his mother back and that they believe she will be returned.
Brother Richard Cornwell said his sister is well suited to deal with emergency situations as a former probation officer with a bachelor's degree in criminal justice.
Authorities believe Cornwell was abducted while talking to her boyfriend on her cell phone. The phone was found by a man mowing his lawn Friday.
