Part of the plane that collided with a sightseeing helicopter has been removed from the Hudson River.
The red-and-white section of the single-engine Piper came free of the murky and fast-moving river shortly after 5 p.m. EDT.

Divers had located the plane in about 60 feet of water and said one body was inside it.
It isn't immediately known whether the part removed from the river contained the body.
Seven other bodies have been recovered and one is still missing.
