Two adults and two children were found dead inside a rented Scottsdale home Thursday and police are calling it a murder-suicide.

Scottsdale police say all of the victims suffered gunshot wounds and it's believed the adult male was the shooter.

Police say a weapon was found inside the house along with a note.

The names and ages of the victims, their relationship to each other and other information was being withheld by police until Friday.

Neighbors say the adults were a husband and wife and the children were both boys around ages 5 and 10.

Police say all of the victims lived at the home in the 9100 block of East Sharon Drive.

It was unclear how long the victims had been dead inside the house, but police say a family member asked them to do a welfare check Thursday afternoon and that's when the bodies were found.
