BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – Connecticut officials are accusing a Bridgeport pharmacist of filling more than two dozen prescriptions incorrectly from 2005 to 2008.
Forty-six-year-old Holland Nguyen faces a hearing before the state Consumer Protection Department on Wednesday. Officials say she agreed to surrender her pharmacist's license in December.
The department has filed disciplinary charges against Nguyen. Officials say the errors included giving one customer 50 times the prescribed dose of a steroid and giving Viagra to the wrong person.
The agency received three consumer complaints against Nguyen, who worked at a CVS on Boston Avenue in Bridgeport.
Nguyen admits making the mistakes, but blames them on an overwhelming workload. She says she's trying to get her license back.
