Cops are searching for a man in the abduction of a 24-year-old upstate New York woman who escaped naked from his van and ran to a home for help.

Saratoga Springs police say someone came up to the woman from behind late Thursday night and hit her on the head.

They say she was dragged into a minivan and forced to remove her clothes at gunpoint.

She was then driven out of the city.

Authorities say she was found by sheriff's deputies and state police investigating a report of a naked woman running up to a home in the town of Greenfield and yelling for help.

Police didn't say how she managed to escape.

Authorities believe the suspect was driving a dark-colored van.
