Cobb County police have detained two suspects in a crime spree that included two killings and a car chase that ended with a suicide.
Police spokesman Sgt. Dana Pierce says the suspects in a quadruple shooting that killed one in an Austell home invasion Friday also are thought to be involved in the death of a woman found in a burning car an hour later.
A man and a woman were detained at the end of an 80 mph chase Friday night that ended on Six Flags Parkway moments after a second man in the car shot himself.
Those two are being questioned about the home invasion and the dead woman found in the burning car. Pierce says they have not been charged, so their names are not released.
Police are looking for at least two other suspects in the case.
