Fired Worker Threatens to Kill Former Boss With Baseball Bat

Authorities say a 43-year-old Tampa man who was fired from his job this week threatened to kill his former supervisor with a baseball bat.

Larry Dale Hummel has been charged with aggravated assault. According to online records, he is being held in the Hillsborough County Jail on $2,000 bail. An attorney is not listed on his online jail record.

According to an arrest affidavit, Hummel lured his former supervisor to the back of the Family Mattress store on Thursday night and threatened to kill him.
