GRETA VAN SUSTEREN, FOX NEWS HOST: Now, the mystery centers around Michael Jackson's doctor, the one on the scene at the time the paramedics arrived. Police have now arranged a meeting with Michael Jackson's doctor. His name is Dr. Conrad Robert Murray. What do we know about this doctor? Well, TMZ has been all over this story from the very beginning.

Dax Holt from TMZ is right here with us live outside the Jackson home. Dax, nice to see you. Any information about this personal doctor who was here when the paramedics arrived?

DAX HOLT, TMZ.COM: You know, I think that's the big mystery that surrounds this whole thing, is, obviously, the doctor. He just kind of vanished after he was performing CPR on Michael's body. They took Michael down to the hospital. He was performing CPR at the hospital itself, and then he just kind of vanished into thin air.

We do know that Dr. Conrad Murray actually sent out a letter to all of his patients in Vegas 17 days ago saying that he was going to be quitting his practice for the time being. He'd still be a managing partner, but he was going to be leaving and he didn't know for how long he would be back. And we've also found out that he signed on to be a part of this London tour that Michael was going to be a part of.

VAN SUSTEREN: What kind of doctor is he? Does he have a specialty?

HOLT: He's a cardiovascular doctor, so he specializes in the heart, which is interesting because Michael had this -- you know, basically, his heart stopped.

VAN SUSTEREN: Was he actually living in this home with Jackson?

HOLT: Well, that's what we hear, he was a live-in doctor for Michael Jackson. And you know, when the paramedics got there and Michael's heart had already been stopped, the doctor was continually doing CPR. And paramedics were saying, You know what? We need to get him out (ph). He's gone. And the doctor said, Absolutely not. We're going to keep going and we're going to take him to the medical center.

VAN SUSTEREN: Has anyone been inside this home today?

HOLT: Well, yes, actually, today the family and a couple of the LAPD did meet in there today to talk. They want to try to sort some stuff out, get some answers from both sides to see if they can find out what happened, what the circumstances were behind this death.

VAN SUSTEREN: A lot of attention on prescription drugs. Any prescription drugs taken from the home? Michael Jackson known to be on any?

HOLT: Well, I know for sure that he was on Demerol. This doctor was prescribing him Demerol and giving him daily...

VAN SUSTEREN: For what?

HOLT: See, that's what everyone's wondering. We don't know if Michael was in a lot of pain. He was under a lot of stress from this tour, maybe stressed out. You know, it could have just been a side drug to help him get through his day.

VAN SUSTEREN: Well, we have -- Dr. Baden will be joining us in a minute. We can find out whether Demerol is something that a cardiologist is likely to prescribe for cardiovascular problems. We'll find out that in a second.

HOLT: It's, like, a morphine drug, for pain.

VAN SUSTEREN: Right. But why -- but he didn't accompany Michael Jackson to the hospital?

HOLT: Yes, he was -- he did...

VAN SUSTEREN: He did go to the hospital?

HOLT: Yes. And I'm told that inside -- medical professionals inside the hospital had already told him to give up and he wasn't. And he was doing the CPR himself in the hospital.

VAN SUSTEREN: Where did he run into Michael Jackson? How'd they become -- how did they know each other?

HOLT: Yes, I have no idea how they know each other, but they've known each other for a long time. And you know, this guy is from Vegas. Michael had a house in Vegas. And he'd come out here to be with Michael and be on the tour with Michael.

VAN SUSTEREN: Some of the family members are gathering. Some of them, of course, live here in Los Angeles. But Janet Jackson -- has she arrived?

HOLT: Yes. We saw Janet. There's a photo of her we put upon the Web site. She landed at Van Nuys airport. And there's literally only one frame of her shutting the door into a car. And I'm assuming that she went to Encino to be with the family.

VAN SUSTEREN: We have no information on any memorial plans or funeral plans?

HOLT: No. I think that the reason is because the family has not received the body yet. And once they receive the body, then they can start planning for the funeral and any other memorial plans that they want.

VAN SUSTEREN: Boy, it's awful, isn't it? I mean, you look at this neighborhood and it sort of has been transformed not just by the presence of the media here tonight, but in 24 hours -- or actually, 36 now, how different.

HOLT: Well, I mean, the world. Everyone's been swarming to his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, the Apollo Theatre, Times Square. Everyone's flooding to just say -- give their respects to Michael Jackson.

VAN SUSTEREN: Well, Dax...

HOLT: It's very impressive.

VAN SUSTEREN: Dax, I hope you join us tomorrow night for our 9:00 PM Eastern special.

HOLT: Thank you. I appreciate that.

VAN SUSTEREN: All right.
