Inside MTV: Megan Fox Gets Dirty, Audience Unimpressed By 'Joke' Priest Bashing in Church

"Twilight" certainly dominated the awards pool at the MTV Movie Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday night, but Megan Fox also resembled something of a frightening fantasy at the star-studded awards show.

The edgy actress looked as though she desperately needed a shower with her dirty hair ‘do - thick gel slicking down her scalp along with a D&G strapless black and gold cocktail dress and strappy stilettos. So is Fox trying just too hard to like effortlessly hot these days? The 23-year-old must have been given a tough time about her wannabe wardrobe as she quick to twitter an apology on Sunday evening.

"Sorry if you didn’t like my hair. Opinions are opinions," Fox wrote.

The "Transformers" starlet didn’t exactly look thrilled to be at the annual show either as she reluctantly stomped down the red carpet. Every time the camera caught her once inside she looked significantly bored and even when she was especially referenced to "throw her hands up in the air" in host Andy Samberg’s opening song Fox simply shot back a dirty scowl. Her level of enthusiasm also left a lot to be desired as she presented a world exclusive of the upcoming "Transformers" alongside director Michael Bay and came across distracted and ultimately unimpressed with the whole shebang.

Speaking of scowls, Eminem was left fuming at MTV and Bruno (aka Sacha Baron Cohen) after becoming a victim to a naughty joke following his live performance. Suspended in the air while donning angel wings, "Bruno" proceeded to smother the rapper’s face with his bare bottom causing Eminem to loose his cool as he and his protection posse fought him off. Immediately after the stunt Pop Tarts spotted an ultra angry Eminem storming from the theater with his equally angry entourage in toe.

But that wasn’t the only time MTV's envelope-pushing humor seemed to cross the line -- did producers take things too far by featuring a mock video game of a priest fight in a church? The audience seemed to think so.

It seemed to be slightly out-of-place and stuck in just for the fun of it, but the show featured a video-game clip inspired by the Oscar-nominated Catholic drama "Doubt" in which a priest (Philip Seymour Hoffman) gets bashed (and bashes back) in a traditional church setting underneath a floating crucifix. The audience clearly didn’t know how to react to the "joke" and for the first time all night barely a clap or cheer ensued in the Gibson Amphitheater.

Gary Marshall Has a Movie Role for Lohan

The problem is he just doesn’t know what it is -- yet.

"I would work with Lindsay again; I just don’t know what for ... but we got along great. I just hope she has a better life than she was having," Gary Marshall told Tarts at the opening of the Hawaiian-inspired Jon Lovitz Comedy Club at Universal Studios on Thursday. "Look at Robert Downey Jr … there was a time when nobody would work with him but now he’s back and he’s great. And Mickey Rourke too."

Marshall hit headlines in 2006 when he requested that a scolding letter be sent to Lohan regarding her disruptive, undedicated behavior on the set of "Georgia Rule" but insisted that he still has a lot of faith that the 22-year-old can reform her bad behavior. But one woman he does have solid plans to work with again is his "Pretty Woman" prodigy.

"Julia (Roberts) and I are working together again this summer on a new film 'Valentine’s Day,'" Marshall said enthusiastically. "She’s great; it is going to be so good to see her again."
