Sister Mary Elizabeth Lloyd is a nun on the run.

This weekend, she'll compete in the KEYS100, a distance race from Key Largo to Key West. And she'll do it wearing her calf-length black habit.

The 60-year-old New Jersey native says she's competing in the race to raise money for orphaned children.

Her book, which was published last year, is about children who have watched their parents die of AIDS.

Sister Mary Beth says she's like the late country legend Johnny Cash, because "I wear black to draw attention."

About 275 runners are competing in this weekend's race, which will take athletes through the entire Florida Keys island chain.
