Actor Ryan O’Neal recently opened up to People magazine about his partner Farrah Fawcett’s terminal cancer saying he “won’t know this world without her.”

O’Neal said of Fawcett’s treatment that it has “pretty much ended.” The “Charlie’s Angels” star, 62, was diagnosed with anal cancer, which recently spread to other parts of her body, including her liver.

“She stays in bed now,” O’Neal said. “The doctors see that she is comfortable. Farrah is on IVs, but some of that is for nourishment.”

The iconic beauty spends time watching television and receiving visits from friends, O’Neal said.

“I can’t hear a song, I can’t pass a place that we were together, without being stabbed in the heart,” he said. “A week ago Farrah said to me, ‘Am I going to make it?’ and I said, ‘Yes, you’ll make it. And if you don’t I’ll go with you.’”

A recovering drug addict, O’Neal and Fawcett’s son Redmond O’Neal is awaiting transfer to a lockdown rehab facility for charges that he was caught with heroin at a jail facility north of Los Angeles.

Ryan O’Neal told People that he lies to Fawcett about their son’s troubles because “it’s the best thing.”
