May 7: Manny Ramirez suspended 50 for games for a substance he said was given to him by a doctor for a personal medical issue

March 23: San Francisco Giants minor league pitcher Kelvin Pichardo suspended 50 games for a banned substance

January 6: Philadelphia Phillies pitcher J.C. Romero receives a 50-day suspension for a product he bought at GNC in Cherry Hill, N.J.

January 6: New York Yankees pitcher Sergio Mitre was suspended 50 games for ingesting a banned substance

April 30: San Francisco catcher Eliezer Alfonzo receives a 50-day suspension for violating MLB's drug policy

May 28: Colorado catcher Humberto Cota is suspended for 50 games for ingesting a banned substance

November 11: Florida pitcher Henry Owens suspended for 50-games for violating MLB's drug policy
