Megan Fox Says Guys In Their 20s 'Are a Waste of Time'

Published May 06, 2009

Megan Fox is not into guys her own age.

The "Transformers" star tells the June issue of Elle magazine that the latest crop of male model-type actors don't do it for her in the least.

“[Robert Pattinson] and Zac [Efron]– they’re just too pretty with the big hair and the suits. And Rob is, what, 22? Zac is 21? That’s a joke. Boys in their twenties are a waste of time. They have nothing to offer conversationally; they’re immature. I feel like I have a better shot with someone in his thirties.”

Like her ex-fiance, former "90210" star Brian Austin Green, twelve years her senior.

When they first started dating - when she was 18 - Fox said she was smitten. “I was like, Oh my God, I have to be with you. You’re not a threat; you’re not some d-bag that’s going to cause a lot of problems. I had to convince him that I was slightly more responsible and well-spoken and had other things to bring to the table besides being 18.”

And even though she says their romance is kaput, Fox still keeps Green on her speed dial. "He’s the one person that I know that if I’m struggling and everything’s getting crazy, I can call.”
