An uncooperative juror has been replaced on the panel in Miami that's deliberating the case of six men accused of plotting to destroy Chicago's Sears Tower and attack FBI offices.
The jury's work has been stalled since Friday when the other 11 jurors asked the judge to remove the woman.
U.S. District Judge Joan Lenard said Tuesday the juror had violated her duty by refusing to deliberate and casting doubt on the law. The juror was replaced with an alternate.
The jury is debating the guilt or innocence of an inner-city group known as the "Liberty City Six." They're accused of plotting with al-Qaida to start an internal anti-U.S. government war.
Two previous mistrials occurred in this case when juries failed to reach verdicts.
