An Indiana man has been arrested at an Iowa casino after authorities say he gambled with more than $100,000 stolen from his employer.
Brett Singer, of Fort Wayne, Ind., was arrested Monday at Prairie Meadows Racetrack and Casino near Des Moines. Authorities say he lost about $20,000 on table games, and was overheard threatening the dealer.
The Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation says Singer was pulled from the casino floor, and was found to be carrying more than $117,000.
Agents called police in Indiana, and were told Singer was wanted for stealing more than $100,000 from a Wal-Mart in Fort Wayne, where he worked as an accountant.
Singer is charged with first-degree theft, first-degree harassment and being a fugitive from justice.
