Exclusive: Hugh Hefner Wants the 'Love of His Life' Holly Madison to Return to Mansion, Reveals His Two Greatest Regrets in Life

It has been several months since Hugh Hefner and his former flame Holly Madison went their separate ways, but it seems the 83-year-old men’s magazine mogul still has super strong feelings for the 29-year-old pin-up. Hef told Jason Binn, editorial director of Niche Magazine’s Los Angeles Confidential, in his debut issue that he’d welcome Madison back with open arms because she is still the "love of his life."

So where does that leave things with his new top squeeze Crystal Harris?

"How serious, and intimate, and important that works out to be, well we'll have to wait and see because it's only a couple months old," Hef said in the upcoming issue, which hits the stands on May 1.

So even though Hef’s heart is still hoping for Holly, it doesn’t look like a reunion will happen any time soon.

"I loved my time at the mansion and think the world of Hef," Madison told Tarts in response. "There comes a time in everyone's life where they need to go their own way."

And although Mr. Hefner still considers himself the ultimate playboy and has lived (and continues to live) a life beyond what most men could even dream about, he has two prominent regrets -- his two marriages (the first to Mildred Williams in 1949 and then to Playmate Kimberly Conrad in 1989 -- to whom he’s still married) and taking his empire public.

"I think the company would have been more closer to home if it had remained a private corporation," Hef admitted.

As chairman and CEO of Playboy Enterprises, Hef’s daughter Christie Hefner recapitalized the company in 1989 and made it the first corporation listed on the New York Stock Exchange to issue a second class of stock with disparate voting rights. But business aside, of all the Tinseltowners and tycoons that have entered the Mansion grounds and graced the pages of Playboy, there is still one superstar Hef longs to meet.

"[I'd] like to find out what [Jesus Christ] was all about," he added. "Separate the reality from mythology. Find out the roots of what has become a major religion of my time. I was raised in a good Methodist home and I had questions about organized religion, and I would love to have the answers."

For the first time in Playboy’s history, the annual "Playmate of the Year" luncheon will be held away from the iconic mansion and will instead be held this weekend as a swanky dinner at Sin City’s Palms Place.

Lisa Rinna Goes Nude

Speaking of the famous men’s magazine however, it seems media-lovin’ Lisa Rinna finally fulfilled her lifelong dream of appearing on the cover of May Playboy (for the second time). In addition, the 45-year-old pays homage to the 1967 classic "The Graduate" in an 8-page nude pictorial spread.

The former soap star reportedly wanted to strip-off in order to show-off her "Dancing With the Stars" physique and she also released a workout DVD earlier this year. This sounds like deja vu -- oh that’s right, Kim Kardashian has a similar story …

Ryan Reynolds Says Steamy Scene With Kristen Stewart Was the 'Farthest Thing From Intimacy'

The upcoming 80’s inspired comedy "Adventureland" is set to raise a few eyebrows as Ryan Reynolds gets hot and heavy with Kristen Stewart (14 years his junior) and understandably, the experience wasn’t exactly enjoyable for Reynolds.

"Doing any scene where you have to kiss someone or make love to someone is difficult under even optimal conditions," Reynolds told Tarts. "They are always weird, you have a crew of 40 people scratching their asses waiting to go home to their kids and wives -- it is the farthest thing from intimacy you could find. But we have to make it look real."

And it seems Scarlett Johansson chose her husband well as he assured us that he’s no Warren Beatty with wandering ways.

"Guys have no more excuse (to cheat), all of that is steeped in the bedrock of patriarchy. Men long ago made the rules that women who sleep around are 'loose' or 'fast' and men who sleep around should be celebrated as these Warren Beatty-esque lotharios," Reynolds said. "It is a total double-standard and it’s a crappy thing. It’s pretty pervasive still today even though we know better. There is never an excuse on either part to cheat; both are equally responsible for their actions."

Hollywood Still On the Miss California Attack

Goodness, Carrie Prejean obviously had no idea when she spoke out against gay marriage at last weekend’s Miss USA pageant that the firestorm would still be burning over a week later, especially in an industry where incidents usually becoming old news after a day or two. Even Kathy Hilton had something scathing to say in regards to the scandal.

"I don't think she's being punished for speaking her mind, but she should have been more educated before she spoke," Hilton told Tarts. Meow.

Speaking of a Hilton of a different kind, the Queen of Media aka Perez (who asked the controversial question) had quite a go at Pop Tarts on Friday night because Bill O’Reilly passed on his oh-so-generous offer to appear as a guest on the primetime FOX News Channel program.

"This is all I'm going to say to FOX News, I reached out to Bill O'Reilly to have me on his show and they denied my request, so Bill O’Reilly, you're a BLEEP BLEEP," the oh-so-articulate blogger said to us. (And it was even more foul-mouthed than what he called Miss California).

"Dirty Sexy Money" starlet Candis Cayne also gave us her two cents worth.

"Everybody has their opinion but what I don’t like about that whole situation is that people hide their bigotry and hate behind religion and for her to say things like "biblically correct," the bible might be what she believes in, but its not what everyone else believes in and I shouldn't be ruled over by someone who believes in something I don't believe in," she said. "So its important that people mind their own business and how its affecting her. But I also think that she was really overwhelmed that night and I don’t hate her, it's Miss USA, it's huge, and she probably thought she was saying the right thing but I’m sure now she’s like ‘ugh, shoot.’ When you’re a beauty queen and representing America, you have to be politically correct."

Even Miss USA 1991 turned soap star turned porn star Kelli McCarty phoned Tarts to exclusively give her pageant-expert opinion.

"Miss California started off by saying that it is great that Americans are able to choose one or the other, and that we live in a land where you can choose same sex marriage or 'opposite marriage' as she put it. Well that's just not true," McCarty said. "In some states you do not have the legal right to marry your same sex partner. You don't have that choice. But if she thinks it is great that everyone gets to choose, then why did she use terms like 'should' and 'my country?' Hey Carrie, choose for yourself and try understanding that others would like to have the legal right to make their choice - here in 'our' country."
