The Kentucky-based ministry that built the Creation Museum and an Australia creationist group have reached an out-of-court settlement that brings a long court battle to an end, The Kentucky Enquirer reports.
The dispute between Creation Ministries International in Australia and Answers in Genesis included disagreements about copyrights, subscription lists and spreading the creationist message. Both groups preach a literal interpretation of the Bible's creation story.
The 6th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in February sent the two groups into arbitration.
In a joint statement, the two creationist ministries say their dispute has been settled to "their mutual satisfaction." The terms of the settlement were not disclosed.
The dispute revolved around personal and professional disagreements between Answers in Genesis founder Ken Ham and Carl Wieland, founder of Creation Ministries.
