Pipe bombs have been found at a parking garage at Detroit's Motor City Casino, but at least some of them turned out to be fake.

Michigan State Police told Detroit radio station WWJ that seven pipe bombs were found Sunday but three have been safely detonated and found to be fake.

Casino spokeswoman Jacci Woods says patrons have been told they must remain in restaurants or gambling areas and cannot retrieve their cars. She tells the Detroit Free Press and The Detroit News that patrons are being given complimentary food and beverages while they wait.

The Associated Press left telephone messages seeking further comment from Woods and Detroit police spokesman James Tate.
