Brooke Hogan Defends Dad Hulk Hogan's 'OJ' Remarks

Brooke Hogan is taking daddy's side.

Hulk Hogan's daughter came to his defense Friday after his recent sound-off to Rolling Stone in which he seemed to admit to having thoughts of murdering his ex-wife, Linda.

"I cannot believe how blown out of proportion one small part of a seven-page article has become," Brooke told Entertainment Tonight. "It's a classic case of a quote being taken out of context. I look up to my father in every way. He has been through so much and has taken the high road through it all. The idea that he would condone the O.J. situation is just outrageous."

Hogan told Rolling Stone that he “could have turned everything into a crime scene, like O.J.” after he found out his soon-to-be ex was in his house sleeping with a 19-year-old boy his daughter had gone to high school with.

One person who does not think Hulk Hogan's quote has been taken out of context, however, is Brooke's mother, Linda.

"Linda and her family are taking these recent homicidal comments seriously. Linda's attorney Ray Rafool is weighing all options necessary to protect his client," Linda’s rep said in a statement on Wednesday. "We have always maintained that the fear that Linda has had to live with comes from the rage and instability much too often associated with pro wrestlers."

But Linda Hogan isn't backing off.

"Hulk’s serial cheating destroyed our marriage, our family and our future," she stated. "Sadly, his recent comments remind us that his definition of fair is much different than what the law dictates."
