An Ohio man on an international Delta Air Lines flight has been charged with assault after being accused of pulling a flight attendant's arm as he made his way to the restroom.
Joao Correa, 43, of Concord, Ohio, says a beverage cart blocked his path to the restroom on the March 28 flight from Honduras to Atlanta. He asked if he could use the one in business class, but was told no. Federal Aviation Administration policy says international flight passengers must use the restroom in their seating class.
He is accused of pulling a flight attendant's arm trying to get to the business class restroom.
The FBI arrested him when the plane landed. He spent two nights in jail and faces an April 17 preliminary hearing.
