Seismologists say a light earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 4.5 has rattled the U.S. Caribbean territories and the British Virgin Islands.

The seismic network of the University of Puerto Rico says the Sunday afternoon quake was centered about 66 miles northwest from Anegada in the British Virgin Islands.

Disaster officials in the tropical island chains had no immediate reports of any damage or injuries from the undersea quake, which had a depth of 18 miles.
