A Pakistani police official says an American U.N. worker kidnapped near the Afghan border more than two months ago has been freed.
Wazir Khan Nasir, a senior police official in the city of Quetta, says John Solecki was abandoned by his captors in a village in the south on Saturday and is now in police custody.
