A judge has ordered a 15-year-old Merrimack, N.H., boy held at a detention center after the boy was accused of planning to go on a shooting spree and take hostages at Merrimack High School.
The boy was arrested Wednesday after police got a tip from another student.
At a hearing on Thursday, a judge ordered the boy held pending a future hearing.
After the boy and a classmate were taken into custody on Wednesday, police determined there were no guns at the school and released one of the teens to his parents. The boy who is being held is charged with criminal threatening, a felony.
Police say no one was targeted specifically.
