A Lawrenceburg woman is held in Arkansas after her grandmother's home in Kentucky was set afire.
Kentucky State Police said 81-year-old Jeannette Scroggins was taken to the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington after she was pulled from her burning home Sunday evening. The hospital did not have a listing of the patient Tuesday morning.
Police had began looking for the victim's 41-year-old granddaughter Cheryl Brogan, who lived with her, when they received a message from state police in Arkansas that Brogan had been arrested on traffic charges.
The Arkansas authorities were requesting a welfare check on Scroggins.
Brogan is held in Arkansas on traffic charges after police there were told there is a first-degree arson warrant from the KSP.
