ATLANTA – Traffic was halted on one of Atlanta's commuter rail lines after a woman's body was found on the tracks.
Atlanta Fire Department Capt. Bill May says it wasn't clear if a train had struck the woman, whose body was found near a station of the commuter rail service called MARTA.
May said a train was cleared of passengers after the discovery Thursday night, and the passengers were taken to their destination by bus.
The woman was not immediately identified.
A message left seeking comment from a MARTA spokeswoman wasn't immediately returned.
