Man Left Facebook Suicide Note Before Hanging Himself in NYC Park

A 33-year-old man announced his suicide on his Facebook page hours before he apparently hung himself from a tree in a Brooklyn park.

Paul Zolezzi was found by transit police at about 7 a.m. Friday in a small park in Brooklyn near the Botanical Gardens. Police say no criminality is suspected, but the medical examiner will determine a cause of death.

There was contact information on his cell phone for his next of kin, and he apparently had updated his Facebook page just hours before he was found dead.

His Facebook status reads: "Was born in San Francisco, became a shooting star over everywhere, and ended his life in Brooklyn......And couldn't have asked for more....."
