The Los Angeles County coroner has identified a Florida man and an Idaho woman as two of the three people killed in a Santa Catalina Island plane crash last week.

They were Marshall D. Goldberg, 39, of Florida, and Amy Marie Judd, 25, of Idaho.

The Orange County Sheriff's Department in California says they were tourists.

The plane took off from Catalina Thursday afternoon in rainy weather and was heading to Orange County. Its wreckage was found the next day on the west side of the island.

Coroner's officials didn't identify the pilot, but the Coast Guard says he was 48-year-old Mark Hogland of Dana Point. He owned a charter flight company but didn't have a commercial license to give charter flights.

The Federal Aviation Administration says it's unclear whether the plane was on a paid flight.
