STOCKTON, Calif. – A judge is releasing previously sealed search warrants in the case of a teenage boy who was allegedly held captive and tortured in a Tracy home.
San Joaquin County Superior Court Judge Cinda Fox unsealed the documents Wednesday morning.
The four suspects accused of kidnapping and abusing the boy have yet to enter pleas. Their arraignment is postponed until Feb. 17.
They are: 34-year-old Michael Schumacher, his wife, 30-year-old Kelly Lau, the boy's former guardian, 43-year-old Caren Ramirez and a neighbor, 29-year-old Anthony Waiters.
The teen appeared shackled at a Tracy gym in December after authorities say he escaped his captors.
