Celebrities are no strangers to being pulled over by the cops, but Tommy Lee has taken being pulled over to new heights — literally.
The Motley Crue drummer’s helicopter was reportedly pulled over mid-flight by the LAPD Sunday.
According to a TMZ report, cops forced Lee’s helicopter to land at Van Nuys Regional Airport after it flew underneath and "too close" to an LAPD chopper.

Lee, who was riding shotgun, was released. His pilot, David Martz, was located by cops at a nearby hotel approximately ten minutes after the landing, where he was reportedly suspected of drinking. He submitted for a breathalyzer test, but the results were inconclusive.
This is not the first time that Lee and one of his chopper pilots have landed themselves in hot water. According to TMZ, Lee had a helicopter land on a public street in 2006. Two years prior to that incident, a reunited Motley Crue wanted to arrive at a comeback concert in Hollywood by helicopter. When the fire marshall refused, the band showed up in a hearse instead.
