Police Want to Interview Husband of Georgia Optometrist Found Beaten to Death

CANTON, Ga. – Authorities want to talk to the husband of a 39-year-old optometrist found beaten to death.

Kimberly Leigh Burton's nude body was found inside her home about noon on Monday, according to a Canton police report released Wednesday.

Police spokeswoman Cpl. Stacy Bailey said that a Georgia Bureau of Investigation autopsy listed the cause of death as "blunt force trauma" to the head.

Bailey said police are not naming suspects but they want to talk to Rodney Burton, the second husband of Kimberly Burton.
