DENVER, C.O. – Colorado authorities say they broke up a ring that stole everything from SUVs to women's underwear and sold drugs to children, sometimes near schools.
Attorney General John Suthers said Thursday the ring robbed at least 19 homes in Denver and its suburbs over a year's time, swapped the goods for Ecstasy, methamphetamine and marijuana and then peddled the drugs.
Suthers says the alleged ringleader was 28-year-old Duy H. Nguyen of Westminster. He was arrested Jan. 13 on racketeering-related charges and is being held in the Jefferson County jail under $1 million bail.
Officials had no record of an attorney for Nguyen, and he didn't immediately respond to a request for comment left at the jail.
Nine other people have been arrested on similar charges.
