The Overall Look: Fresh and Modern
Carol used LORAC's new Color Me Couture Eye Shadow Pallete to create a stunning eye with a "peacock" effect. Here's how:
Step 1: Appy the first eye shadow shade in the Color Me Couture Palette from brow to lash—this shade is used as a highlighter.
Step 2: Apply the third eye shadow shade, a warm rosy gold all over the lid and let a little of this shadow peep out over the eye by bringing it over the corner of the eyes.
Step 3: Apply the jade green hue on the lid and in the crease of the eye.
Step 4: Pump up the beautiful jade shade by also applying new Green Room Eye Shadow to this area. This will intensify the look and give the eye a lot of depth.
Step 5: Add a little Black Eye Shadow in the outer corner of the eyes and in the crease of the eye.
Step 6: Use Black Front of the Line Eye Liner along the upper lash line and smudge Green Room Eye Shadow under the eye. Also, smudge a little bit of Black Eye Shadow to connect the bottom and top lash lines.
Step 7: Use 02 Black Eye Pencil inside the eye for additional pop.
Step 8: Finish the eye with Visual Effects Mascara in Black for beautiful lashes.
Step 1: Prep with AquaPrime .
Step 2: Use Breakthrough Performance Foundation in SMS4 .
Step 3: Use Double Feature (shade 1) under the eyes and to highlight the cheek bones.
Step 4: Set the makeup with Translucent Touch Up Powder (shade 1).
Step 5: Use a Blush/Bronzer Duo in Hot & Spicy—Carol applied the peach shade as a blush and the bronzer to contour.
Step 6: Dust Perfectly Lit Oil-Free Luminizing Powder on the cheek bones for a beautiful glow.
Step 1: Line the lips with #18 Pencil, a light rosy nude.
Step 2: Use new Couture Shine Liquid Lipstick in Trend Setter—a pearly peach shade.
Step 1: Apply Creamy Eye Brow Pencil in Blonde.
