GILBERTSVILLE, Ky. – Searchers have recovered the body a young hunter who had been missing since a boat he was on with three others overturned in a western Kentucky lake.
The Paducah Sun reports one of the hunters was rescued Saturday after the boat capsized in 44-degree water and is being treated in a hospital. Searchers are looking for the other two who are still missing in Kentucky Lake in Gilbertsville.
Marshall County Coroner Mitchell Lee said the body was found Sunday night but did not release his name.
Marshall County Search and Rescue Squad Chief Carl Curtner said all four duck hunters were under 21.
The principal of Mayfield High School said the teen whose body was recovered was a senior at the western Kentucky school.
